Description

The Soul Nebula, Sh2-199, IC 1848, is an emission nebula about 7500 light years away in Cassiopeia.  This cropped view features some towers of gas reminiscent of the Pillars of Creation in M16, as well as what looks like a Bok globule just below and left of center.

I captured this data a couple of years ago and had never processed it.  It's much easier and more rewarding to use today's tools than it would have been two years ago!
